When I reorder one-write or accounting supplies, do I get a whole new system?

A

Only if you want to. Each component of our One-Write Check Writing systems and Business Manager system may be reordered individually. The Management Controls system is available as a complete system or a system refill, which includes everything a complete system includes, except without the system binder.


Q

What can be put on an endorsement stamp?

A

Up to 6 lines can fit within our endorsement stamp's 2 1/2" x 1" impression area. Our standard imprint is 6 lines as follows: (1) Pay To The Order Of, (2) Your Bank Name, (3) Your Bank Routing/Transit Number, (4) For Deposit Only, (5) Your Company Name, and (6) Your Bank Account Number.


Q

How many lines of imprinting are allowed on checks and forms?

A

Most customers get 4 lines, but you can get up to 5 lines. For example, some customers choose to identify the type of account on their checks (Payroll Account, General Expense Account, Trust Account, etc.) or add a phone number.

How quickly will I receive my order?

A

It depends on what you buy. Usually checks and forms ship within seven business days, one-write systems ship within three business days, and accounting systems ship within one day. Some custom orders take longer to complete. Whatever you purchase, DMI Business Printing provides the fastest order turnaround in the business. Once shipped, orders are in transit no more than five business days.

Do you guarantee your products?

Yes! Our 100% satisfaction guarantee states: "If you are not completely satisfied with any DMI Business Printing product for any reason, simply return it within 90 days from receipt for a full credit, refund, or replacement."

What are my options and costs for customizing my checks and forms?

A

You can do something as simple as adding your logo, changing the color of your imprint, and/or requesting a special type style. Or you can have your order totally customized from scratch. For pricing, contact us through our web site or call toll free 1-800-243-1969 to discuss options and request a free quote.

How do I submit my logo?

A

The quality of the art you give us plays a big part in determining the quality of the final product. Please send us a solid black image on smooth, white paper. Faxes do not provide acceptable quality, but you may send artwork via e-mail. For best results, contact us or call toll free 1-800-243-1969 before sending logos.


Q

Can I see a proof of my checks and forms before they are printed?

A

Before printing your order we will fax or email a proof if you request one, or if we have any questions. All custom checks and forms require customer pre-approval.


Q

Can I start my consecutive numbering with any number?

A

Yes, up to 6 digits, if needed. If you reorder without specifying the starting number, we assume you want to start where your last order for the same product left off or, for new orders, at 1001. Though you can request any starting number at any time, we recommend you not use the same series of numbers within a year.


Q

What information do you need to print my checks? How should I give you my check MICR information? Do you need a bank specification sheet?

A

We ask for all the information we need from you on our online order form.


Q

How do deposit tickets come?

A

Deposit Tickets are included with orders for Personal Size Checks (1-part). Otherwise, Deposit Tickets must be ordered separately and are available in your choice of 1, 2, and 3 parts. One- and two-part Deposit Tickets come in books; three-part Deposit Tickets come in loose sets.

How many columns are there for disbursements on the extended journals as compared to the short journals?

A

On the General Disbursements and Combined Disbursements & Payroll Systems, the extended journals contain 27 columns, and the short journals contain 11 columns.


ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS

May I order Management Controls forms numbers 101A and 102A separately?

A

Forms 101A and 102A are available only with a complete Management Controls system or a Management Controls system refill (no binder).


Q

How do I reorder individual forms for The Business Manager system?

A

You may order them offline in packs of 50 or individually. Specify the product code that appears in the margin of the form you wish to reorder.
